Precious Belmio Aroma Guard

When it comes to coffee, aroma is everything. Our sense of smell gets the tastebuds tingling, but much of that intoxicating aroma is lost when coffee beans are ground.
Enter the ingenious people at Belmio who developed our very own ‘aroma guard’, locking in the full, rich aroma and flavour of freshly ground coffee for you to enjoy. The aroma guard preserves and protects our coffee from oxidation, light and humidity throughout its journey, from fresh bean to roasting and from grinding to the steaming coffee mug in your hands.
All of the aroma and flavour is sealed in an airtight, recyclable aluminium capsule so full of sensation that it’s ready to burst.

Together, we protect every link in our coffee chain and back it up with certification . Buying, using and selling sustainable coffee is Belmio’s top priority. We live and breathe coffee and value the use of this commodity, so we are committed to making sure that every single link in the chain is respected and valued. That is how we found the organisation and certification of RFA.

Fair Trade Certification

Guarantees proper working conditions and also covers a range of environmental criteria. The label offers financial and other support to farmers and their communities by adhering to a minimum price and paying commissions.

Swiss Water Process

Truly caffeine-free: it’s not a marketing trick. After decaffeination, our beans are 99.9% caffeine free, exceeding the FDA standard for “caffeine free”! Then we have two coffee varieties that are decaffeinated with a CO2 procedure instead of the Swiss Water Process. The benefits are pretty much the same; no chemicals, the CO2 can be reused and since the beans are steamed, the resulting coffee is milder and less aggressive.

Belmio Whole Coffee Beans

Our whole coffee beans packages were designed degassing valve the keeps the coffee beans fresh by allowing volatile gases to escape the bag, while also works to keep oxygen out. Also, degassing valve helps the coffee package maintain shape by allowing gases to escape.
